A week after my return from Grayland, I loaded up my Matrix and brother’s 550 and I drove down to the final local race of the season at Lake Perris, CA. This was an exciting event after burning up my brothers entire 550 exhaust system due to a clogged cooling restrictor jet, I was able to get it all back together with the help of a bunch of friends on site. A loose clamp popped off during the 1st 550 moto lap 2 while i was in 1st place. To maintain the lead I threw off the hood and finished the last 3 laps of the race to keep my lead and finish 1st! My Amatuer ski Open motos went a little more smooth motor wise thanks to KMG Racing finishing out 3rd overall. I also competed in freestyle and came out first! One of my busiest and most fun race days so far.

With the help of my friends and sponsors I have been able to push my limits since last year’s surfslam contest where I finished 5th in Pro Freeride and 2nd in Pro Motosurf racing. These last few months have been insane dialing in some new tricks to bring up my aerial game. With the combination of speed JFB inspired power surfing and some new tricks in the air under my belt I’m locked loaded and dead set at making some noise and giving the Oregon coast some hell to fight my way to the top spot at this year’s Blowsion SurfSlam Pro Freeride contest.
Thank you all for your support! Enjoy and wish me luck!
Thanks to the organization of Dan Lindgren director of the event and the support of the city of Grayland I was flown to Seattle and picked up by Tanner Thomas to announce for the 3rd year at the Grayland Open AM Freeride contest in Grayland, Washington. Thanks to Tanner , I was able to have my Matrix freeride ski there to ride with and help coach riders on certain riding aspects during the freeride clinic before the contest.
