Rickter Team at 2014 Daytona FreerideMy friend and fellow pro freerider, Tanner Thomas and and I drove over 52 hours 2,700 miles from Morro Bay, CA to the 2014 Daytona Beach Freeride in Daytona Beach, Florida. We have been pulling the team RICKTER trailer, loaded up with the latest and greatest of the 2014 RICKTER line up powered by DASA Racing, pushed by Skat-Trak Magnum pumps, and built by T.C. Freeride. The Rickter west coast team coming to the event consists of riders Mark Gomez, Tanner Thomas, Taylor Curtis, Randy Lawlor, Brandon Lawlor, Abraham Ho, Rick Roy, and Jeff Bolte. Keep an eye out at the 2014 Daytona Beach Freeride event forĀ  the entire team and skis! Tanner and I filmed a video on the road which is featured bellow. We are here now at the event and are ready for a great weekend. Thank you everyone for your support to get us here safely and supported with things to read about while being on the road for so long.

Video: Big Saturday in Oceanside with Mark Gomez 7-25-09

Monday, July 27th, 2009

Some footage from the huge swell that hit California thisĀ  weekend of 7-25-09. Also got 3 back flip attempts on video, my go pro camera only got the first 17 minutes of footage and the wide angle does not do the surf size justice. No one else brought out cameras that day that i could get a hold of.

2 New Oceanside videos with new on board camera

The first Video was one I put together from Wednesday March 25th’s ride with John Howe filming from his helmet camera, and Brad Weiss. It was a junky day but the video came out pretty nice.

A few days later my new Go Pro Wide angle helmet camera came in the mail. I set up a tall mount for it on my helmet and decided to give it a go and see how it turned out. This is footage from Sunday’s ride with Randy Laine, Yamaha Bob Capperauld, and my brother Philip.
